Karina Rasmussen
Karina is the leading force behind driving the vision and developing Client Relations at Well Street. Karina’s passion for health and wellness shines, helping clients plan and execute the right programs for their employees.
Karina’s Bio
With over 20 Years in Learning & Development and Human Resources, working for major Banks, Technology, and Professional Services companies, Karina understands how too much stress and unbalanced lives can have a negative effect on a person’s health and how small changes and enhancements to champion employee wellness, can create positive returns for the organization. Karina partners with organizations, helping them assess their corporate wellness strategies and employee needs to build engaging solutions that drive employee engagement, adaption and sustainability. Some clients Karina has worked with include: CI Financial, Goodmans LLP, Boston Consulting Group, AGF Financial, Greystone Investments and several Municipalities and Government agencies across Canada. On her spare time, Karina lives and breaths wellness – practices yoga, mindfulness and daily meditation to stay grounded and focused.
Sara Buckingham
Sara Buckingham is a certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor and movement specialist. She grew up as a dancer, and has always had a passion for health, wellness and movement.
Sara’s Bio
After studying business at Western University, and taking on Sales and Marketing roles full time, she began to also work part time as a professional dancer and fitness instructor, becoming well known in the industry for her creative and inspiring classes.
Today, Sara is the Director of Client Services at Well Street Health. She also is our Movement expert and the facilitator of our functional movement seminar, which focuses on flexibility, mobility and strength. In addition to her work at Well Street, Sara dances professionally with the Toronto Argonauts A-Team, and teaches weekly classes at Barre Belle YYZ and Calii Love Studio. Her classes are upbeat, and inspired by dance, yoga and pilates.
Sara believes that movement is medicine, and hopes to continue to share her passion for movement with others, with a special focus on the corporate environment.
Sara is an educational and motivating instructor, who uses familiar cues and positivity to keep her audience engaged. She has experience working with all group sizes, from 1:1 personal training to groups as large as 100.
